STaSIS Street Sport suspension kits are designed specifically for each Volkswagen model and configuration. The ride will feel similar to the factory VW suspension but with more control. In addition to the comfortable ride the Stasis Streetsport coilover kit will stiffen the suspension just enough to improve the steering response and minimize body roll. The spring rate is chosen for your vehicle and driving use. The dampers are custom valved to match the spring rate. This allows STaSIS to provide the quickest reacting suspension available without the harshness often experienced in mismatched systems. The STaSIS Street Sport suspension kit includes the following components:

• 4 KONI Cadmium Plated Adjustable Dampers
• 4 KONI Progressive Rate Springs
• UHMW Spring Perch Bearings

Many spring and shock combinations lower the car more than most drivers want. Spring and shock combinations are rarely designed to work in concert with the rest of the suspension and thus make for poor handling and ride quality. The STaSIS Street Sport coilovers give you the ability to choose where you want the ride height to be while giving you the damping control you need.
KONI dampers are used in the STaSIS Street Sport line. These are twin-tube dampers featuring KONI's Sport valving. Additional features include a corrosion resistant cadmium plated damper body (when threaded), damping adjustability and height adjustability. Rebound is adjustable while the damper is off of the car. STaSIS sets the rebound for these dampers based on countless hours of testing. Most customers find that changing the settings after installation isn't necessary. The UHMW perch bearing makes for easy adjustments by decreasing the friction between the perch and spring.
Rear dampers feature the same performance as the front dampers.

Note:
The rear suspension of of many Audi and Volkswagen vehicles uses a separate perch for the spring. Due to this design a "true" coilover is not possible in the rear of those vehicles however an adjustable perch is included for height adjustability.
