APR Performance "Chip" ECU Tuning for Audi B7 RS4 4.2 FSI

APR's ECU tuning program for the Audi B7 RS4 4.2L FSI engine is designed to operate within the OEM and Tier 1 Supplier specifications for engine component stress tolerances and performance specifications. The APR ECU upgrade typically raises the power output of the 4.2 FSI to 440 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane fuel with 443 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane fuel! Expect improved throttle response and a smoother, more powerful top end with no loss of drivability or reliability. With APR's DirectPort ECU tuning the ECU can be programmed in around 40 minutes, no ECU removal or soldering is required.

APR software is available with up to four Operating Modes as well as Extra Features*. APR's Flipswitch technology allows switching of Operating Modes or activation of Extra Features in seconds using the cruise control stalk with no need to purchase external hardware.

Currently Flipswitch is not available from APR for this application which limits the ECU to one Operating Mode, however customers purchasing now are entitled to a free upgrade to a fully loaded ECU once APR finishes development of the Flipswitch feature.
