APR's ECU tuning program for the Audi B7 A4 2.0T FSI engine is designed to operate within the OEM and Tier 1 Supplier specifications for engine component stress tolerances and performance specifications. The APR ECU upgrade typically raises the power output of the 2.0T to 232 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane fuel with gains of 52 horsepower available at lower RPM's! Expect improved throttle response and a smoother, more powerful top end with no loss of drivability or reliability. With APR's DirectPort ECU tuning the ECU can be programmed in around 40 minutes, no ECU removal or soldering is required.
APR software is available with up to four Operating Modes as well as Extra Features at an additional cost*. APR's Flipswitch technology allows switching of Operating Modes or activation of Extra Features in seconds using the cruise control stalk with no need to purchase external hardware.

Extra Features:
- Fault Code Erase (FCE): Allows reset of engine related fault codes without needing a specialty tool.
- Throttle Body Alignment (TBA): Allows you to manually perform throttle-body adaptation.

One Operating Mode is included with the purchase price. Adding a second Operating Mode adds $149, the third and fourth Operating Modes are an additional $79-ea. FCE and TBA Extra Features are bundled together for an additional $59. Certain ECU's are limited in memory capacity to a single Operating Mode only.

Nice, greatly reduced turbo lag, I have an otherwise stock CVT A4. Got the security lock out, Audi dealers didn't notice I had it installed when they examined computer and updated software. Only draw back is not having it after getting reflashed by audi dealer so gotta go back and get reinstalled(small inconvenience). Also very good integration with stock programing so I can go back to stock feel if I want for dealer service. Easy switch over between the programs I have four, stock, 91, 93 octane and valet.

It was like night and day. Just wait till you gotta throw it back to stock mode when you take it in for service. You're gonna really notice the difference then.

Got my car chipped today at Achtuning and I have to say I wasn't sure it would be a noticeable gain, but it definitely was. I took two friends with me and was able to notice the gains right away, a lot more so after the heaviest one was dropped off, haha.
If you haven't done this yet, do it, you can't lose.
