Achtuning Audi 2.7T Throttle Body Boot (TBB) and clamp kit

A silicone throttle body boot for the Audi 2.7T that fits great and won't rip like the factory TBB. Stop worrying about harmful boost leaks, with 4.25mm wall thickness the Achtuning TBB will last the life of your engine. The Achtuning Throttle Body Boot includes 3 constant tension spring loaded clamps and 1 OEM style pinch clamp for the boost sensor.

Achtuning Throttle Body Boot:

The Achtuning TBB is an injection molded reinforced silicone boot that looks almost exactly like the OEM Audi boot, this allows a stealthy install while giving you a perfect fitment. Our TBB retains the molded retaining ring for a secure fit on to the throttle body. Unlike the competition, the Achtuning TBB still allows fitment of the boost sensor clamp and does not interfere with fitment of the front engine cover.

Achtuning TBB clamps:

The Achtuning TBB kit includes three high quality spring loaded constant tension clamps to ensure that your Throttle Body Boot never pops off and leaves you sitting on the side of the road. These clamps are spring loaded to provide a constant tension on the boot regardless of temperature fluctuations and have rolled edges to prevent the clamp from cutting into the silicone. Also included is a new OEM style boost sensor clamp!

Achtuning TBB Install:
Installation of the Achtuning Throttle Body Boot typically takes 1 hour. Basic hand tools are necessary for installation. A 1/4" drive ratchet or socket driver with a flexible shaft is recommended and 1/4" metric sockets will be necessary. A small flathead screwdriver or pick will be needed to loosen the boost sensor clamp. A pinch clamp tool or pair of medium size dikes will be needed to tighten the boost sensor clamp. Please observe all safety precautions and follow proper installation guidelines while working on your vehicle. Be sure that the retaining ring molded on the inside of the boot fits securely in the mating ridge around the throttle body port. Be cautious with sharp edged tools around silicone as the material is easily cut and cuts will tear.
