The STaSIS Motor Sport Suspension upgrade is designed for those people who are serious about on-road and on-track suspension performance. The Ohlins dampers used in the STaSIS Motorsport kit offer extremely quick reaction time to driver input and wheel movements resulting in a smooth ride and unparalleled car control. This street/track level suspension kit consists of the following parts:
- OHLINS Lightweight Aluminum Adjustable Dampers
- STaSIS Double Digressive Valving
- OHLINS External Front Adjustable Reservoirs
- STaSIS Mounting Hardware
- Hyperco Linear Rate Springs
- UHMW Spring perch bearings
OHLINS dampers are used in the STaSIS Motor Sport suspension line. The model used in this application is derived from their race proven 46HRC damper line. This damper features a large 46mm piston for quick response, a hose mounted reservoir for better cooling and seperate external adjustments. The adjustable reservoir is only available on the front dampers in the Motor Sport kit. Ohlins dampers provide extremely quick reaction to movement allowing lower damping forces and higher spring rates to be used. Compression adjustments are also possible, further allowing fine tuning of ride quality, steering response or both.
Additional features of the STaSIS Motor Sport kit include a lightweight aluminum body, adjustable damping, quick response for better handling, larger external reservoir for better cooling, height adjustabiliy and optimum consistency over extended periods of time. The Motor Sport dampers are easily adjustable with a wide range of settings offering fine tuning of ride and control. The rebound adjuster is made of a unique aluminum alloy that compensates for oil viscosity changes at higher temperatures. This ensures that your damping levels do not change when with use. The UHMW perch bearing makes for easy height adjustments by decreasing the friction between the perch and spring.
Rear dampers feature the same performance as the front dampers, with a non-external (integrated) reservoir that is not adjustable. Rear dampers still provide damping adjustability, but only on the shaft, not the reservoir.
